PUDN SEMINAR - MIGRATION DATA - An international registry of ethnic and migrant minority (EMM) surveys: EMM Survey Registry

  • 1. Sciences Po, CEE, CNRS

Description

The Paris Nanterre University Data Platform (PUDN) organizes a series of seminars and methodological workshops aimed at promoting access to and reuse of quantitative data in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). The PUDN training sessions are intended to be a place for the Paris Nanterre research community to exchange and share information related to the diversity of quantitative data in SSH with data specialists, producers and distributors.

This presentation, which introduces the EMM Survey Registry to the Paris Nanterre research community, was given by Meredith Winn and Ami Saji during a PUDN training session dedicated to surveys examining migration issues.

The EMM Survey Registry is jointly being produced by SSHOC’s Task 9.2 (Ethnic and Migration Studies) team of Work Package 9 (Data Communities), in close collaboration with COST Action 16111 – ETHMIGSURVEYDATA (an international network of more than 200 researchers active in the ethnic and migration studies field) and FAIRETHMIGQUANT (a French Agence Nationale de la Recherche funded Open Science project).
