Description

Chesley_etal_2021_North-Hikurangi-EM-data.txt contains controlled-source electromagnetic data and magnetotelluric data from the northern trench-crossing profile of the Hikurangi Trench Regional Electromagnetic Survey to Image the Subduction Thrust (HT-RESIST) project (see https://emlab.ldeo.columbia.edu/index.php/category/ht-resist/ for information regarding the survey). Chesley_etal_2021_North-Hikurangi-bathymetry.txt is the associated bathymetry file.

Notes

The resistivity model from inversion of these data is published in Chesley, C., Naif, S., Key, K. et al. Fluid-rich subducting topography generates anomalous forearc porosity. Nature 595, 255–260 (2021). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-021-03619-8
