Contains Twitter textual data (and related metadata) posted between 12/06/2019 and 30/09/2019 to investigate digital hostility against German ship captain Carola Rackete, arrested for docking a Sea-Watch migrant rescue ship without authorization in the port of Lampedusa, Italy.

The corpus includes:

1) Tweets posted by the following Twitter usernames: @SeaWatchItaly, @matteosalvinimi and @CaroRackete;

2) Tweets retrieved by using the following queries (as tags and mentions): Carola Rackete, Sea Watch, Matteo Salvini and Alessandra Vella.

Total number of words: 2,076,298.
