Glosses on the beginning of [Aḍud al-Dīn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Aḥmad] Îjî’s Commentary, by SAYYID SHARÎF JURJÂNÎ (d. A.H. 816). See Ḥ. Kh. vi. 172.

Beginning:

قوله الحمد لله اردف التسمیة بالتحمید فی مفتح الکتاب اقتفاءً لما ورد فی الاخبار و اقتداءً بطریقة الاخیار

The first part of these glosses, extending over the first dissertation of the original work, concludes on fol. 85v. as follows:

تمت بعون الله و توفیقه قد تم مبادی الکلام من الحاشیة القدیمة و یتلوها مبادی اللغة من الحاشیة القدیمة صح (sic)

Fol. 86 continues:

قوله من لطف الله تعالی الخ

The last gloss begins:

قوله و الجواب عنهما

Written in a bad Nasta’liḳ hand. The colophon runs as follows:

تمت شد یلوح الخط فی القرطاس و کاتبه رمیم فی التراب تمت الحاشیة الشریفیة (؟ الشریفة .r) الشریفیة علی شرح المختصر المسمی بالعضدی بعنایة الملک العلی و بیمن النبی المکی المدنی یوم الاحد من شهر جماد الاول سنة تسع و اربعین من عهد سلطان محی الدین محمد اورنک زیب بادشاه غازی خلد الله ملکه..و یوافقه سنة الهجری و هی الف و مایة و سبع و عشر¹ کاتبه مرزا بیک ابن حسن بیک کولابی فی بلدة شاهجهاناباد المرید فی جناب العادی حضرت میر سید حسن رسول نما نارنولی
