Description

This version of the OpenGulf research data includes historical data extracted from the Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf, Oman and Central Arabia, compiled by John Gordon Lorimer (1908, 1915).

It contains five datasets in csv format

  • Wells on the Qatar Promontory
  • Date Palms and Livestock in the Historical Neighborhoods of Baraimi
  • Flag protection of Pearling Towns in the Gulf
  • Quantities of Date Palms in Bahrain
  • Places of Wadi Al Tayin
