Estimation of the Abduction/Adduction Movement of the Metacarpophalangeal Joint of the Thumb

Datasets analyzed in the study "Estimation of the Abduction/Adduction Movement of the  Metacarpophalangeal Joint of the Thumb". 

Dataset contains kinematic data from thumb joints, and recorded by a Vicon motion capture system :

• Data used in the Experiment A (called as ExperimentA).
• Data used in the Experiment B (called as ExperimentB_1 and ExperimentB_2). 
  • ExperimentB_1 contains reach-to-grasp movements from 226 trials in experiment A: 9 subjects, reach-to-grasp movement of seven objects (book, cylinders, tennis ball and wallet, 3 repetitions of each).
  • ExperimentB_2 contains grasping postures: 5 subjects, 7 cylinders of different sizes, 4 grasp types (cylindrical, five-finger, three-finger, two-finger grasp), 3 repetitions of each
