Description

Sequence alignment and phylogenetic datasets for the publication "ZC3H4 restricts non-coding transcription in human cells".

bioRxiv preprint doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2021.02.10.430684

Data files:

-PTHR13119.afa: Multiple sequence alignment file, fasta format. Identified PTHR13119 domains (1513 domain sequences detected from UniRef100 with hmmsearch/HMMer v3.2.1) were aligned using MAFFT v7.4.

-PTHR13119.gt75.afa: Multiple sequence alignment file, fasta format. The same 1513 aligned domains than PTHR13119.afa but sites composed of more than 75% of gaps were removed from the multiple sequence alignment.

-PTHR13119.nwk: Newick chain of a midpoint-rooted maximum-likelihood phylogenetic tree of zinc finger CCCH-domains (1513 sequences; 795 parsimony informative sites; see alignment file PTHR13119.gt75.afa) inferred under the JTT+R8 model. Phylogenetic tree was reconstructed using IQTREE v1.6.9.
