A kinetic reaction model for biomass pyrolysis processes in Aspen Plus

Description

This dataset contains the exported AspenPlus simulation files that are the basis of the publication and the MS-Excel file used for calculating the decomposition reaction. The procedure given in the supplementary information of the article is some kind of pseudo-code that explains the iterative calculation implemented in XL. This is done vie a simple Macro that copies the output vector (calculated modified values) into the input fields until reaching the set threshold. It is calculated prior to running the simulation and the results then pasted into the embedded Excel-file (since it is not possible to run macros within an Excel embedded in AspenPlus).It is not very intuitive, but investing some time you should be able to figure out.

The AspenPlus files are exported from AspanPlus V7.2, so they might require updating
