Description

This folder contains all the code necessary to produce the figures of the paper entitled "Emergence of nonlinear friction from quantum fluctuations".

Content: 

The data.dat file is a human readable file containing the data underlying all results in our work. The metadata (parameter ranges, meaning of the different data columns, ...) is stored in metadata.txt. cluster_fit.ibynb contains the data processing and fitting routines that we ran on a computer cluster using Python 2.7, which generates the processed data, and the system parameters located in the directories data_processed and cluster_simulation_results respectively. The processed data and system parameters are used in the figures.ipynb notebook to generate all the figures of the main article text and supplementary information.
