Description

The database contains δ18O and δ2H in tap waters from France and neighbouring countries (original data:Daux et al., 2021), in precipitation, tap water or river water in Belgium, Deutschland, Great Britain, Italy, Netherland, Spain and Switzerland (already published data; references below), and modelled in precipitation by ECHAM6-wiso (original data: Daux et al., 2021).

Analyses:

  • Performed with Picarro L2130-I wavelength-scanned cavity ring-down spectroscopy instrument (Picarro Inc, Sunnyvale, CA, USA)
  • Sample values reported using the δ notation where δ = Rsample/Rstandard -1, R being 18O/16O or 2H/1H
  • Reference : VSMOW water standard
  • Analytical precision: 0.20‰ (1s) for oxygen and 0.7 ‰ (1s) for hydrogen
