Flood-pedestrian simulator
Description
The flood-pedestrian simulator is developed within the Flexible Agent-based Modelling Environment for the GPU FLAMEGPU framework for modelling multiple agent interactions on CUDA Cores for parallel processing on Graphical Processing Units (GPUs). The simulator dynamically couples in parallel a hydrodynamic model to a pedestrian model and able to capture two-way interactions across pedestrian agents, representing evacuees, and flood agents representing local floodwater (Shirvani et al., 2020; Shirvani et al., 2021; Shirvani & Kesserwani, 2021).
- Download the FLOOD-PEDESTRAN SIMULATOR USER GUIDE for more information and step-by-step guidance on how to run the simulator on your own machine.
- To get insight into what the simulator does, watch demo videos from the simulations of two test cases reported in Shirvani & Kesserwani (2021).
- Visit this webpage to know more about the flood-pedestrian simulator.
