Description
This digital neonate phantom model was constructed for the purposes of MRI safety evaluation. It was created from MRI images of a neonate (female, gestational age 38w6d, age at scan 1 day, birth weight 3.50kg) with resolution 0.98 x 0.98 x 1.5mm3. The images were semi-automatically segmented into 13 tissue types. The face has been slightly blurred to preserve the anonymity of the subject. A 'blanket' layer has also been added for thermal simulations.

The model is provided as a 3D nifti format image. Nifti (.nii) is a popular medical image format and is readable by many freely available software packages. Each voxel has an integer label corresponding to the classes listed below:
