Problems of this research is what pea eggplant fruits decrease spermatogenesis activity in rats. The objective of this research is to assess the effect of pea eggplant fruits on spermatogenesis activity in rats. Forty male rats at three months age were fed in four food groups, i.e., (1) control, feeding with 15 g food were produced by LMR, (2) feeding with 5 g pea eggplant fruits and 10 g food were produced by LMR, (3) feeding with 10 g pea eggplant fruits and 5 g food were produced by LMR, and (4) feeding with 15 g pea eggplant fruits. Treatment per day for one month. The result showed that 10 g pea eggplant fruits and 15 g pea eggplant fruits decreased spermatogenesis activity in rats. Because alkaloid solasodin in eggplant fruits inhibited spermatogenesis via inhibiting hypotalamo-pituitaryspermatogenesis in testis pathway.
