Lectotype (Reveal & al. in Huntia 7: 224. 1987): Kalm, Herb. Linn. No. 1059.1 (LINN; iso- UPS).
Generitype of Arethusa Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 185. 1929).
Current name: Arethusa bulbosa L. (Orchidaceae).
