Index files of the Biographical Dictionary of Republican China

These three files are the index files for the three types of data extracted from the BDRC:
- Index of persons
- Index of institutions
- Index of Locations
Each file comes with the full list of names in theri original denomination (Wade & Giles transliteration or English). Whenever possible, we have added the Chinese characters and the pinyin transliteration for persons. Institutions are generally provided in English only.
