Description

The dataset contains raw data of the study that investigates predator-prey interactions in forest understories using web-building spiders in four forest types in Thailand: dry evergreen forest representing a natural control (Evergreen1-6 in the data sheets) and three 20–30 years old reforestation types, namely secondary naturally regenerating dry evergreen forest (Secondary1-6), monoculture reforestation dominated by Eucalyptus camaldulensis (Monoculture1-6), and mixture reforestation dominated by Acacia mangium and E. camaldulensis (Mixture1-6).

TableS4.Potential.Prey - potential prey of spiders collected by sticky traps

TableS5.Functional.structure - Functional compostion of spider communites by means of web type and mean body size (product of carapace length and width[mm])

TableS6.Vegetation.structure - Vegetation structure of each sampled stand by means of percentual herb coverage, shrub coverage, and cannopy openness
