The Ancient Christian Gospels as Historiae: A Secular-Critical Evaluation of M. David Litwa's How the Gospels Became History
Creators
Description
The article provides a secular-critical investigation of the proposal that the the New Testament Gospel narratives were composed and read as authentic histories of ontological events in time and space. The essay draws conclusions, as a matter of heuristic, by way of critical engagement with M. David Litwa's recent, little-known monograph on the topic.
