Peace: a view from the conception of the university student.
Authors/Creators
Description
ABSTRACT
The article presents the conceptions that university students have about peace, a relevant topic, in the colombian context, cataloged as the country with the longest and bloodiest armed conflict in world history, which makes its culture vulnerable.
Qualitative research and interpretation from hermeneutics gave methodological life to the study, with the participation of university students.
The results show the conceptions of peace associated with negative peace, which is only possible by eliminating conflict and violence; a self-defeated concept of peace, from which it is impossible to build a foundation of a culture of peace.
