Description
Data used in the paper "Plasma density and magnetic field fluctuations in the ion gyro-frequency range near the diamagnetic cavity of comet 67P", JGR: Space Physics 2020 (doi:10.1029/2020JA028592).
RPC-ICA data is stored in the binary data containers format used by MATLAB (.mat). For the purpose of the analysis in the above paper, only the variables sum_orig_ionspectra, time_instances and E are required. These contain the total ion counts, sample time and energy level, respectively, for each time-energy bin.
RPC-LAP data is stored in text files, with the custom extension .TAB used by the ESA Planetary Science Archive (https://archives.esac.esa.int/psa). Descriptions of the data in these files can be found in the asscociated text files with extension .LBL.
RPC-MIP data is stored in text files (.txt). Brief descriptions of the data can be found at the top of each file.
