Dataset used to analyse posthoc the effect of metformin on NT pro-BNP plasmalevels (ng/l) in type 2 diabetes patients

Visit 1 is baseline, other visits are 2=0.33,3=1.42,4=2.5,5=3.58,6=4.33 years after randomisation

ncnum is patient-id, treatment is coded 1 for metformin and 0 for placebo, sex is coded 1 for male and 0 for female

Cvscore is a cardiovascular risk score

Dataset is derived from the HOME-trial : Kooy A, de Jager J, Lehert P, Bets D, Wulffelé MG, Donker AJ, Stehouwer CD. Long-term effects of metformin on metabolism and microvascular and macrovascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
