Description

We provide the netcdf files used to plot precipitation figures over South America in the paper. Four files are provided. Three files are for "preindustrial", "no Andes" and "open Central American Seaway" experiments that were carried out with the fully coupled model IPSL-CM4 (Marti et al., 2010). One file contains the outputs from a Miocene simulation carried out with NCAR CESM in Zhou et al. (2018).
