Description
perform_SEA.py is the main Python script described in Warden et al., 2020, allowing to estimate the statistical significance of pre-earthquake magnetic signals in the ULF range.
The script imports the config file myconfig.py which specifies the geomagnetic station of interest (either Kakioka or Kanoya), the depth and radius range of the events to consider, the catalog being used and the list of anomalous days to reject.
We encourage other researchers to modify this script to account for other time periods, other magnetic stations or even other precursor types.
