Description

We provided comprehensive empirical comparisons of alternative functional response models for the herbivore fish Acanthurus chirurgus (Bloch, 1787) and the red macroalgae Digenea simplex ((Wulfen & Agardh, 1822) as its prey in the Rocas Atoll, a pristine South Atlantic's reef ecosystem. Raw data and code is available in the main folder Data_S1. Please read MetadataS1 documentation to enable interpretation and reuse of the code including specific instructions for how to rerun analyses presented in the paper.
