Hamartoma Meningotelial: Presentación de un caso

RESUMEN

Las lesiones dermatológicas son un reto diagnóstico para el dermatólogo y para el patólogo, es necesario realizar una adecuada correlación con los hallazgos clínicos e histopatológicos para emitir un diagnóstico preciso. La presencia de células meningoteliales en la piel es un verdadero desafío debido a la rareza de esta lesión. Se presenta un caso de hamartoma de células meningoteliales el cual se sospechó por los hallazgos histológicos y se confirmó con apoyo de tinciones de inmunohistoquímica.

 

 

ABSTRACT

Dermatological lesions are a diagnostic challenge for the dermatologist and for the pathologist, it is necessary to make an adequate correlation with the clinical and histopathological findings to issue an accurate diagnosis. The presence of meningothelial cells in the skin is a real challenge due to the rarity of this injury. A case of meningothelial cell hamartoma is presented, which was suspected by histological findings and confirmed with the support of immunohistochemical stains.
