Effects of presence of shelter on smallmouth bass metabolic traits - capture and experiment data

These data combine basic capture data (location, date, and physical variables) of smallmouth bass (Micropterus dolomieu) and experimental (metabolic traits calculated from respirometry experiments) data. Metabolic traits estimated during experiments in presence or absence of shelter on smallmouth bass were standard metabolic rates (SMR), resting metabolic rates (RMR), maximum metabolic rates (MMR), aerobic scope (AS), recovery time from MMR to SMR (RT), and excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). These data consist in datatables accessible openly. Details provided in metadata file.
