Model code for frequency modulation with presynaptic inhibition

Frequency modulation of transmitted synaptic signals based on presynaptic inhibition. Running the Python-script simulates the model, plots the results and saves the figures in a local directory. The model was designed in collaboration with Belén Pardi and Johannes Letzkus.

Note: To run the code, you may have to comment out line 12: # plt.style.use('pretty'). This command uses a local stylesheet for plotting, but is not necessary to run the code.
