Description

The data is associated to the paper entitled "Origin of climatic data can determine the transferability of species distribution models" published in Neobiota.

It is distribution data of Ageratina adenophora in the Himalayas in csv format.

It is made up of the following two files:

1) Presence_absence_western himalaya.csv: Presence and absence locations of Ageratina adenophora collected by the authors during field survey in the year 2014 and 2015. Presence is denoted by 1 and absence is denoted by 0.

2) Presence only_central and eastern Himalaya.csv: Presence only data of Ageratina adenophora. This data was compiled from contribution made from multiple experts in central and eastern himalayas who agreed to make the data freely available. For contributing occurrence data, we would like to specifically thank Rajendra Yonzone from Darjeeling (India), Choki Gyeltshen from Bhutan, Bharat Pradhan from Sikkim (India), Dinesh Thakur from Jammu (India), and Bharat Shrestha from Nepal.
