Guidance and Best Practices for Reestablishment of Non-Emergent Care in Nuclear Cardiology Laboratories during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic: An Information Statement from ASNC, IAEA, and SNMMI

Description

This Information Statement is entitled Guidance and Best Practices for Reestablishment of Non-Emergent Care in Nuclear Cardiology Laboratories during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic: An Information Statement from ASNC, IAEA, and SNMMI.  It serves as a followup to the previous Information Statement entitled Guidance and Best Practices for Nuclear Cardiology Laboratories during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic: An Information Statement from ASNC and SNMMI.  Whereas the previous Information Statement focused on considerations for nuclear cardiology laboratories during the pandemic, the present document focuses on reestablishment of non-emergent care as the laboratory begins to emerge from the period of peak infection.

Independent of this document, if you practice nuclear cardiology, please consider participating in INCAPS COVID, a worldwide survey of the impact of COVID-19 on nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT practice, being conducted by IAEA.  The survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete.  Participants are included in the INCAPS COVID Investigators Group for publications.  Further details at bit.ly/incapscovid.  Survey at bit.ly/iaeasurvey.
