Sépultures et legs pieux dans les testaments de l'officialité de Besançon (1271 – 1347) : jeu de données
Description
The dataset deals with pecuniary legacies in 13th- and 14th-century Free County of Burgundy (Comté de Bourgogne) testaments. It encompasses 15 last wills, dated from 1271 to 1347, made by eight men and seven women, registered by the archbishop of Besançon's ecclesiastic tribunal (officialité). It focuses on the money the testator bequeaths both to his/her parish church and to his/her burial place. For both sites a wikidata ID is provided.
Notes
This dataset was created for the author's M.A. final essay in History during his study at the University of Strasbourg and enriched during his traineeship at the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz.
