The late Marx and the multilineal conception of history

Authors/Creators

Description

This work focuses on the reflections of late Marx, particularly in his «Cuaderno Kovalevsky» [1879]. It analyses his writing process, his sources, his main contributions to the multi-lineal materialist conception of history and the place that this Notebook (not incorporated into the work «Karl Marx's Ethnological Notes») plays within Marx's theoretical production as a whole. The author's main conclusion is that the «Cuaderno Kovalevsky» confirms Karl Marx's definitive rupture with the Westernist euro-ethno-centrism.
