FAIR data for the Life Sciences: we can and must do better!

I prepared this contribution for the Open Data Sicilia Raduno 2020.
I talk about open research data, and what I have learned in my personal experience with implementing the FAIR principles.

I make the case that we need to work on building communities of best practices and support these communities with the right tools and resources to make OPEN and FAIR become a reality.
