Paratype: 1 [sex unknown]. November 26, 1991 / Laguna de Xilos / Managua vic. Nicaragua / Eric van den Bergh coll // [on yellow] PARATYPE / Megacephala (Tetracha) / nicaraguensis W. Johnson

Conservation status: Good condition; pinned

Additional notes: Originally described as Megacephala nicaraguensis Johnson, 1993. New combinaion Tetracha nicaraguensis given by Naviaux (2007).
