Description
1. Inelastic_Panel_Zone_Database_v1.xlsx
An inelastic panel zone database of fully restrained beam-to-column connection tests as part of steel moment-resisting frames (MRFs) is provided. The database consists of 100 tests of experimental research over the last 50 years. The collection and metadata methodology are thoroughly presented in Skiadopoulos and Lignos (2020).
Full digitized histories of the local panel zone shear force - shear distortion as well as the global force - story drift ratio hysteretic diagrams of each experiment are provided. A MATLAB code to plot and acquire the performance parameters of interest is shared.
3. Panel_Zone_Deduced_Parameters_v1.m
A MATLAB code to automatically deduce the measured panel zone response parameters of interest is shared.
4. ABAQUS_Model_Validation_v1.7z
The provided hysteretic responses are exploited for continuum finite element (CFE) model validation. Such a validated CFE model is shared (.inp) together with the respective buckling analysis files (.inp and .fil). The model represents SPEC-6 by Ricles et al. (2004) and was generated by ABAQUS.
