Estimasi Jarak Aman dan Jarak Maksimum Rekahan, serta Efektifitas Peledakan Menggunakan data Mikroseismik pada Tambang Bawah Tanah
Description
One of the blast effects is ground vibration. Ground vibration caused by blast wave propagation and it causes rocks
to break. If the blast is not well controlled, it does fatality for employees, infrastructure, and equipment damage. For
that reason, blast needs a good plan and well monitored. The micro-seismic method can use for analyzing the blasts
effect based on the recorded wave in each sensor. The physical properties known from waves are peak particle
velocity and seismic moment. The analysis will use for estimating the minimum secure distance from the blasting
point, the blasts effectiveness, and maximum crack distance influence. A minimum secure distance criterion is
distance where the recorded wave has a maximum peak particle velocity of 150 mm/s. The most blasts effective is
where the seismic moment number is higher than others. Using nine blasts in the panel and 16 blasts data in undercut
from 28 March-11 July 2018, were then be analyzed, and the results are: the variation of secure distance is 1-12 m
for panel and 1-17 m for an undercut. The maximum crack effects of blasts are 35m for panel and 51m for the
undercut. The most effective of the blast was a panel at P#10-11 DB#7, and undercut at DD#13 WS R#102-105.
Therefore, micro-seismic data are instrumental in determining safe conditions in the underground mine blasting
process
