Open Architecture and Spatial Data Infrastructure for Risk Management Services Specification Version IV

This is the fourth deliverable of WP3.4 "Core Service Specification" of the FP6-511678 integrated project ORCHESTRA (Open Architecture and Spatial Data Infrastructure for Risk Management).

According to the “Description of Work” the objectives of the work package are:

• “To develop a detailed but platform-independent and language-neutral specification of all relevant core services of the OA
• To integrate spatial and non-spatial information and services under one coherent umbrella

This document defines platform-neutral OA service specifications, according to the abstract specification templates for interface and service types.Platform-neutral service specifications build the basis for platform-specific ones, this should facilitate interoperability between multiple platform-specific service specifications.
