Description

This archive contains the python code and associated data used to create Figure 3 of Elkins-Tanton et al. (2020).

Contents

  • psyche-bulk-density.py : Python script to generate the figure and data files. Requires numpy, matplotlib, and ternary.
  • inclusion-density-X-Y.dat : ASCII data files containing the volume percentages of metal, inclusions, void space, and the sum of the three. 'X' is the density of the inclusions. 'Y' denotes the assumed bulk density of Psyche, which can be '1sig', '2sig', '1msig', or '2msig' for the 1- and 2-sigma upper and lower bounds, respectively, or absent for the best fitting value.
