Description

This is the data base about the study on a newly developed acoustic probe. Three group of sand sample are used with different particle size distribution(mediam particle size Dm=0.014mm, 0.043mm, 0.077mm respectively). The frequency of the probe is 5MHz. 

This data base including:

(1) the experimental result of measured back scattered sound intensity (BSI) and the the relasionship between BSI and suspended sediment concentration (SSC)

(2) particle size distribution 

(3) the relationship between medium particle size and increasing rate k (BSI increase with SSC)

 

BSI is represented by the sum of amplitude of signal sequence in frequency domine.
