Nemapogon peslieri Varenne & Nel, 2017 (Tineidae), Gracillaria loriolella (Frey, 1881) (Gracillariidae), Kessleria fasciapennella (Stainton, 1849) (Yponomeutidae), Gelechia obscuripennis (Frey, 1880) stat. rev. (Gelechiidae), Scythris palustris (Zeller, 1855) (Scythrididae), and Eucosma suomiana (Hoffmann, 1893) (Tortricidae) are for the first time published from Italy. The identification of the new country records is based on DNA barcodes and analysis of morphological characters.
