Deepfakes Analysis - Resolution, Facial Structure and Overlapping Objects
Description
The resolution of the source material has a surprisingly minor effect on the final outcome. Facial structure of the two people should be similar. Handling of hair and glasses still problematic. Only part of the face is modified, whereas forehead and ears are left alone.
Notes
This paper was written in 2019 as part of a research project at scip AG, Switzerland. It was initially published online at https://www.scip.ch/en/?labs.20190307 and is available in English and German.
