UMA COMPREENSÃO FENOMENOLÓGICA-HERMENÊUTICA DOS WIZARDS

O trabalho utiliza o método fenomenológico de pesquisa em psicologia, pensado principalmente por Edmund Husserl, para investigar um grupo de pessoas, usuários da comunidade Wizchan na internet, que se autoproclamam Wizards. A palavra é utilizada pelos participantes da comunidade para denominar homens virgens acima de 30 anos. Para entender a condição de possibilidade do surgimento do grupo e o seu site, é investigada a origem e evolução da palavra Wizard para essa definição e o histórico de outros sites, que influenciaram diretamente no modo de funcionamento do wizchan. São extraídas e traduzidas publicações da comunidade, a fim de não somente compreender os wizards, mas também refletir o que suas falas revelam acerca do ser-aí do homem e o atual horizonte histórico, utilizando-se de pensamentos de Martin Heidegger para realizar a meditação.

The work uses the phenomenological method of research in psychology, especially designed by Edmund Husserl, to investigate a group of people, users of the Wizchan community on the Internet, which call themselves Wizards. The word is used by the community participants to refer to virgin men over 30 years old. To understand the condition of possibility of the group's emergence and its site, an investigation is issued on the origin and evolution of the word Wizard for this definition, and the history of other sites, which directly influenced how wizchan functions. Posts from the community are extracted and translated to Portuguese, not only to understand the wizards, but also to reflect on what their statements reveal about the being-there of men and the current historical horizon, utilizing Martin Heidegger's philosophy for this meditation.
