ПІДТЕКСТ У КІНО: ПАРАДИГМА ВИВЧЕННЯ

The paradigm of understanding of subtext in a film by analyzing works of film directors L. Kuleshov, S. Eyzenshteyn, M. Romm and script consultants K. Iglesias, R. McKee, L. Seger, J. Weston has been explored in the paper. Subtext has been considered as a way to intensify the information capacity of the film text and activate the perception of the viewers. Methods and tools of implicit meanings film creation have been analyzed, particularly the understanding of subtext in the film has been studied, the kinds of montages (associative and intellectual) which generate implied meanings have been observed, the role of intuition in the decoding of the implicit information has been defined, the interaction between internal and external lines which represent intertwining of explicit and implicit in the film scene has been determined, peculiarities of dialogue-making, using pauses, and creation of visual and audio effects which bring attached information have been specified. Systematization and generalization of study paradigm of subtext improve its theory development in the film and the art studies, provide new perspectives in adequate study and analysis of artistic works.
