Simulating Lightning NO Production in CMAQv5.2: Performance Evaluations

Data sets behind the tables and figures in the manuscript: Tables 1&2 and Figures 2-5 were created using data from the modelcase (Base, mNLDN, hNLDN, pNLDN)...csv files, which contain the model-observation paired data (ppb) at all AQS sites. There are 3 modelcase...csv files for each model case: hourly, daily mean, and daily maximum 8-hr O₃. The later two files can be created from the hourly data. Figure 6 was generated using data  in EDGEWOOD_GMD_Figure6.csv and BELSTVILLE_GMD_Figure6.csv. Figures 7-11 were created with the discoveraq and modelcase...gz files. The data behind Figure 12 is contained in the Figure12_data.Rdata file.

The c-shell scripts and R scripts are used to make the tables and plots in the manuscript. The c-shell scripts generally invoke one or more R scripts that reads in needed input data. However, some of the R scripts were written to start with some large model outputs ("on request") and can create the immediate data files in this data set for making the tables and plots. Therefore, if the data files in this data set are used directly, some minor changes on the R scripts are needed, i.e, comment out the sections before making the immediate data files, and read in these files instead.
