INTERACTIVE READING OF SPANISH SILVER AGE LITERATURE: TEACHING AND RESEARCH PROMOTED BY BIBLIOTECA NACIONAL DE ESPAÑA

  • 1. Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain

Description

The main objective of this paper is to present a collection of interactive books edited by The Other Spanish Silver Age  Research Group with the support of the eLITE-CM Project and in collaboration with the National Library of Spain (BNE). In the first place, we approach the changes that digital reading are undergoing from a theoretical perspective in order to better understand the interactive reading tools that exist in the publishing market. We start from a fact that neither teachers nor readers can renounce: literary reading, in whatever format, is an act of knowledge, understanding and interpretation of the reality, which is a creative activity which humankind cannot give up if we want to continue cultivating our free will and our cognitive development. Subsequently, the research results of the digital resource "The Interactive Silver Age", a collection of books in an interactive format available through the Spanish National Library website, are being used as reading for both the general public and university classrooms.
