Glider, turbulence and ADCP datasets used in the manuscript "Storm-induced turbulence alters shelf sea vertical fluxes"

Measurements of shear microstructure, temperature, conductivity, and fluorescence of chlorophyll-a of a stratified water column were taken in the German Bight of the North Sea in Summer 2014. During the measurement period, a storm entered the study region and mixed the water column thoroughly, modifying water column dynamics. The measured quantities were used to estimate turbulence, stratification, mixing, water column stability and changes in the signal of chlorophyll-a.
