FIGURE 12. Holotype MNHN 2013.0264 of Podarcis virescens n. sp. from 1 km past Villanueva de los Escuderos towards Cuenca (province of Cuenca, Spain) Photos P. Geniez. Note the less flattened head compared with P. guadarramae, the green tint on the dorsum and the orange-yellowish tint of the tail.
