This is the dataset for a submitted manuscript entitled "Fungi, fire and insects: Protea infructescences as reservoirs for fungal biodiversity in fire-prone environments".
The upload contains all forward and reverse paired end .fastq files. The files are already demultiplexed. The metadata.xlsx file contains sample information, gps coordinates, etc.
