Precaution for food and consumer products - a glimpse in the future

Technological innovation provides the cornerstone for new consumer and food products. Many new products will be introduced to the market over the coming years. One of the tasks of the Office for Risk Assessment and Research (BuRO) of the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) is to identify new risks and threats to public health. Therefore it tries to keep abreast of these future developments. This book is intended for anyone interested in learning which innovative products might be expected, what the risks might be, and who is responsible for our safety.
