The Staging Fidelity Index (SFI): A Published 0–100 Standard for How Faithfully a Virtually Staged Listing Photo Preserves the Real Room — Methodology v1.0, First Edition

  • 1. Pocketstager

Description

The Staging Fidelity Index (SFI) is a published 0–100 measure of how faithfully a virtually staged real-estate photo preserves the real room it was made from — the walls, windows, proportions and fixtures kept as shot, with nothing invented. Furniture added for presentation is allowed; inventing architecture the room does not have is not. Each photo is scored on five checks against its original: structural fidelity, no invented space, material honesty, scale, and disclosure, combined with published weights into a score and a plain Pass / Flag / Fail band. This first edition publishes the full standard and its scoring configuration openly, so anyone can reproduce a score. No listings have been scored yet; the scored dataset follows in later dated, permanently archived editions. SFI is descriptive, not predictive.
