Імплементація стратегічної місії професійних організацій Австралії в контексті професійного розвитку вчителя середньої школи

Teachers are the cohort that best of all realizes and understands teaching practice efficiency, but at the same time it needs the confidence in sustainable involvement into high quality work. This is the key element for modern teacher professional development. We believe that teacher professional development is a strategic factor for providing quality teaching and quality student outcomes correspondently. In this context, there is a need for analyzing Australian professional associations’ activity, being a part of strategic mission for teacher quality improvement in Australian secondary schools.

The article highlights the key aspects of most Australian professional associations (organizations), their contribution and impact on teacher quality training and professional support. The author analyses the associations’ structure, main trends and initiatives regarding educators’ professional development implementation. The author comes to conclusion that Australian professional organizations focus on global trends in education, apply innovations and demonstrate a wide range of tools in teacher professional development.
