Аналіз показників та рівнів сформованості професійного іміджу майбутніх учителів іноземних мов

By the means of analysis of the scientific and educational literature the author of the article investigates the problem of the definition of precise criteria for the formation of the professional image of the future teacher. The concepts "criterion", "indicator" are characterized and differentiated. The described criteria are concretized through indicators. The features of the structure of the professional image of the future teachers of foreign languages are analysed. The author emphasizes the importance of such a component of professional image as communicative competence, in as much as in teaching foreign languages, teacher’s speech is not only one of the techniques or means of training, but also the object of study . Summarizing approaches to the definition of criteria and indicators of formation of professional image, used by modern researchers, and taking into account the structural features of the professional image of the future teachers of foreign languages, an attempt is made to define clear criteria and indicators of formation of professional image of the future teachers of foreign languages. To characterize the degree of manifestation of indicators of the developed criteria, the levels of formation of professional image of the future teachers of foreign languages are described.
